The location is stunning. Its on an old disused golf course. The cabins are built overlooking an old fairway with craggy peak mountains overlooking and loads of wild life. The accommodation was much better than the photographs portrayed. I particularly like the large windows giving great views. It is very isolated but that's what we wanted. Very friendly hosts.

Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Of all the places we stayed in Tassie this was by far the best! We stayed in Blue Wren which had 180 degrees of view and most of this was floor to ceiling. If you like bird watching this is the great place to stay as it has a hide which looks into the estuary, if not sit back and enjoy the view as the bird life will come to you!!! Alternatively wander/cycle along the newly built walkway into town which is also worth a visit. The facilities were luxurious and had a real wow factor about them. When we're back that way I'll certainly be staying here again.

Just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town, Castaway Holiday Apartments is located in Strahan. WiFi access is available at this self-catering accommodation. Castaway is a lovely set up. It is a short walk into town even closer to the pharmacy and supermarket and petrol station/garage. The owners are super welcoming and have a great property with all you could need. We stayed three nights to enjoy the main attractions of Strahan which is a very interesting town. The small outdoor theatre show of "The ship that never was". in the evenings is a must see. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the town and environs.

Offering self-contained accommodation with panoramic river and valley views, Armalong Winery Chalets is located in Grindelwald, 20 minutes' drive from Launceston. This property was absolutely superb. Beautiful vineyard setting with all comforts and lovely hosts.

Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. You need to add a start, Mauds Cottage was the best sleep, location, bath, luxury plus! I do not think there could be better accommodations in all of Tasmania. They host are lovely, the view, the peace and quiet. All perfect!

It’s one minute walk to Salamanca Market. It’s very convenient. Washing and drying machines provided. It’s spacious.
