We had a small balcony with Ocean views which would have been lovely had the weather been better! Extremely friendly owners. We opted for the 3-course dinner in the evening and we were not disappointed. Fabulous food, and great way to mix with others when most of the other times we were self-catering. Good, cold buffet breakfast in the morning.

The apartment was very spacious (the largest we stayed in), well appointed and had marvellous views over Blönduós and surrounding areas (the best views we had at our various stopping points). Cooking facilities were good. A really good start to our journey, which set standards later stops rarely met.EdwardYoung couple
