Serviced Apartments in Makarska

We booked this last minute as our ferry to Korcula was cancelled so we drove up the coast. We initially planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying for 6. We were in room 310. Sea view to die for, especially with the Croatian sunsets. Apartment is large and very clean.

Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, the location is great with only a short walk down to the beach. Lovely view from our balcony. Parking was easy.

This place is incredible. We spent 2 weeks here and I loved every moment. Mornings on the beach and afternoons at the pool. Both have sufficient shade. The beach also has a small restaurant near the long outcrop that sells sandwiches and fries for takeaway. The apartment itself was great too. Brand new, with comfortable beds, loads of pillows, a nice work space and a well equiped kitchen. If I ever go back, I would stay here again.

The location of the apartment is exceptional, across the path from the beach and the Marina is a short 5 minute walk. Hosts are friendly and willing to help.

The apartment is in a very good location in Makarska. It can be said that the best in the whole city. The apartment is on the fourth floor, with a view from the windows down to the beach promenade (where there is always lively movement) and beyond the treetops to the sea. The apartment is very clean and makes a good impression. There is everything you need to spend the night, rest and cook light food. There are two entrances to the building: one with reception where a person sits and the other private, where you can enter and exit without seeing anyone. The fourth floor can be accessed from both entrances by elevator (also by stairs if desired). It is very important to note that the apartment is pleasantly quiet. With the windows closed, outside voices are not heard. In October, the surroundings were also very quiet: neither the voices of restaurants nor the music of street musicians could be heard in the room (fortunately, there were very few of them). You have to keep the bedroom window closed at night, because every night a garbage truck moves in the parking lot and a cleaning truck whizzes around the neighborhood. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a public park and sports corner next to the house. A pleasant start or end to the day. NB: the car's GPS could not find the right place according to the address (the street Šetalište Doktor Franje Tuđmana Šetalište Doktora Franje Tuđmana 4 is a pedestrian zone). A better landmark is Hotel Central Beach 9 (which is in the same building). The main entrance of the building is not from the sea side (pedestrian street), but from the courtyard between the two buildings.
