Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. We stayed in a renovated double room that exceeded our expectations based on reviews. Room was clean, comfortable, and convenient for one night stays between flights. We liked the fact that you arrive, walk to hotel - all within the airport with no need for shuttles. Room amenities are basic, but acceptable. We booked another one night stay based on our positive experience. Good value for money.

Southern Sun offers luxury rooms with a contemporary design. It features an outdoor pool, bar area and a buffet restaurant called Bernoulli’s. Easy airport transfer, room was a good size, breakfast was excellent, Buffet Dinner option was awesome and well priced. Great stay!

The shuttle was easy, the driver very helpful. Front desk staff was very welcoming. The room was far larger than I expected, and the included breakfast was spectacular.
