I was travelling alone so I chose this hotel just in front of the airport. The service is world class and they have lots of options for room service as well. Very professional staff as well.

Southern Sun offers luxury rooms with a contemporary design. It features an outdoor pool, bar area and a buffet restaurant called Bernoulli’s. They looked after my daughter, who had never travelled before, very well. They showed her exactly where to get the airport shuttle bus, advised her not to eat in the restaurant at night as it was way more pricey than the airport restaurants ( we really appreocued that, as she didn't have much money). Room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and confortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the most comfortable I've slept in in a long while. The lady at check-in was super helpful and friendly in spite of having a long line of clients.

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. Lunch was cooked very nice,spared me money and time to go out and looked for it. Staff was also very nice, very practical and convenient shuttle bus to and from the airport.

One of the most helpful and efficient staffs that I have ever encountered. The room was huge and excellent as well. The shuttle service was a great add-on.

Located just 4.5 km from Kempton Park Golf Club, Ithonsi Guesthouse and Spa features accommodation in Kempton Park with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. Great guy, Mr Bheki. Calm, chill place. I do recommend it for staying the day/night before you flight. Or even your stay in Joanes, as ubers tend to be cheap anyway. The neighborhood seemed chill compared to the place i stayed before more to the center, but can be only a impression - Joanes doesnt seem like a safe city at all. Nice and clean room. Good amenitties. Nice bed. Just missing a heater, as it can get cold in the night. The blanket/sheet are good stuff tho.
