This property is a quaint and beautiful stone structure of the architecture seen all over the islands. The accommodations are unique and wonderful. We had a very large bedroom and bathroom. Interior design is modern and sleek and compliments the stone structure. Our bathroom is also very modern with a wonderful full spray shower. Towels are of spa level comfort. The room is freshened daily. We had access to a common room and ate breakfast in a dining/kitchen area. Breakfast consists of an amazing assortment of local breads, cheeses, meats. jams, fruits. It was so lovely that we chose to cook our dinner there one night as well. We met the other patrons (2 other rooms in this large house) and that was fun. In the backyard we used the washing machine and drying racks, which were very handy. Finding the property took us a few "passes by". FYI in the afternoon of arrival the host puts his name and phone # on the door for patrons to call. He came right over to let us in and welcome us. He is very kind and really means it when he says to contact him for any issues or questions. He gave us very good information on some things to do on the island. The location of this property is outside of Velas, on the way to Urzelina, and ended up being a nice location to head out daily in different directions all over the island.

Everything about this place is incredible -- the house, the views, and the hospitality.  The bedroom is large, bright, and comfortable, but guests also have the use of the rest of the gorgeous villa, too -- the kitchen, dining room, living areas, terraces.  The views of the neighboring islands are stunning.  And Lina and Rui may be the kindest, sweetest hosts we have met in our many years of travel.  Everything here is absolutely perfect.

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

Nastanitev Casa da Bella je v mestu Velas in ponuja teraso. Nastanitev nudi dostop do balkona, uporabljate pa lahko tudi brezplačno zasebno parkirišče in brezplačen WiFi. Location was perfect for exploring the island. Views of port and Pico were lovely. Spotlessly clean. Spacious.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

Nastanitev Cabanas da Viscondessa je v mestu Urzelina in nudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. Nastanitev se ponaša s sobno postrežbo, na voljo pa je tudi terasa. We liked the cabanas, very spacious and clean. Nice terrace surrounded by nature. Beautiful view of Pico mountain. Jorge, the owner, was very welcoming. The restaurant was a good PLUS to have. It is very good cuisine.
