Quinta das Buganvílias ligger 600 meter fra den lille ø-lufthavn og er omgivet af en stor park med frodig vegetation. Wow! Fantastic place! You can watch take off and landing in your place:) It is good location close to airport (5-7 minutes by foot) like you are exactly inside. There is no noisy in spite of this because there are about 3-5 flights a day. It is clean inside and outside, there is beautiful garden. Good place to have some glass of wine and think about your next trip. When I come back to Faial Island I would like to stay here again,sure:) I would like to say thanks to Ana and Kyle:)

The house is lovely, the fridge was full of local delicious food and the hosts were lovely, giving us twice a free ride to the airport. We hope we can come back soon!

It was like our home away. It is close to the airpot, about 15’ by uber to the center. Cozy rooms, beautifully maintained garden and we love the pool. There are many corners you can sit down and relax. The breakfast was also good with fresh fruits from its garden. Special thanks to Francisco who was very communicative and immediate came to pick us up at the airport when we sent him the text that we could not find any taxi. We planned to rent a car at the airport but no one available so we asked and Francisco agreed to take us around. The cost was reasonable, the trip was enjoyable and Francisco’s stories were very interesting.

The house has 3 apartments ans is well located not far (10 mn) from Horta downtown. The house is very nice and fully renovated with good taste and some typical elements (stone wall). The house is clean, well equiped and with all amenities. Beds are good. The house is very clean. The owners are very nice and helpful people. The swimming pool is really enjoyable. At night, the sound of the "cagarros" birds is weird but funny and not loud.

Wow, this new "Bed and Breakfast" was an extraordinary six night stay because of the people, facility and breakfasts. The owners were very personable, warm, and helpful. Their facility was very clean and tidy. The bed and bedding was luxurious. There were electrical receptacles near the bed for our phones. The shower has both a wand and large rain shower head with lots of hot water. The bathroom mirror was heated. There is a large common area with a refrigerator, a large table, dishes and cutlery for coffee/tea and quick snacks, a microwave and sofas. The veranda with our room was spacious for peaceful morning sun. The windows and doors have screens although there were no mosquitos. The WIFI was strong with a security password. Barbara's breakfasts were always fresh with tremendous variety. We loved the just-squeezed orange juice, eggs, pancakes, homemade spicy hummus and jams, Greek style yogurt, breads, pastry, fruit, cereals, herbal teas and cheese. We asked Andreas, our host many detailed questions about Faial and the Azores. He always took the time to explain the background, history and traditions that make the Azores a nature lover's superb outdoor destination. This personal touch added a lot of meaning to our visit. The location was quiet and only a 10 minute drive to the modern Continente grocery store or restaurants in Horta; and, 12 minutes to the airport.

Pedro welcomed us so kindly. We were urgently looking for a last minute accomodatin due to our flight cancellation and ended up in the most beautiful place one could immagine.

The garden is huge and really beautiful with all the different plants & trees, like a botanic garden. The terrace also really great to spend a good time outside ( well equipped with barbecue included) The area is very calm and surrounding beautiful. Possibility to park the car inside the property.
