The apartment is big, with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the airport. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the planes fly in and leave. Check-in was easy, with clear instructions communicated via WhatsApp. There is off the street parking available in front of the building. The apartment had a full size kitchen, travel books, and even charging adapters. We only stayed 1 night because we had an early morning flight and the apartment is conveniently located by the airport (~5 min. drive). It's great for proximity to the airport and a base for driving to other nearby towns. Downtown Funchal is a bit farther away (~20-25 min.) and parking there is difficult, so it's probably not the most best location if you plan to spend most of your time downtown.
