With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. Everyone we encountered was happy and helpful. The view of the ocean is uninterrupted. Place was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The food was both tasty and and well presented.

The apartment is big, with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the airport. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the planes fly in and leave. Check-in was easy, with clear instructions communicated via WhatsApp. There is off the street parking available in front of the building. The apartment had a full size kitchen, travel books, and even charging adapters. We only stayed 1 night because we had an early morning flight and the apartment is conveniently located by the airport (~5 min. drive). It's great for proximity to the airport and a base for driving to other nearby towns. Downtown Funchal is a bit farther away (~20-25 min.) and parking there is difficult, so it's probably not the most best location if you plan to spend most of your time downtown.
