For our 3 day´s trip all sufficient. We enjoyed long walking, Piotrowska street, Manufactura, Ksiesy Mlyn, Cinema Muzeum, Mirror House, Textil muzeum (full day, great expirience), parks, restaurants...

The city centre is lovely, lots of excellent restaurants and plenty of shops. Manufaktura shopping centre is very pleasant with all the usual shops but a nicer venue than in many countries. The square is delightful too. I loved the restored old factory buildings and the Art Nouveau Mansions on Piotrkowska St. Public transport is good and free for over seventies. A very pleasant city to spend a day or two with green spaces to walk through and sit in as well and plenty of cafes. A good place to walk around in and take in the interesting history of the cotton industry.

A combination of both industrial heritage transformation with fabulous shopping malls , a very long Main Street lined with attractive restaurants. But also with a tragic history connected with suffering of both Jewish and Polish suffering in World War 2 . You need a map to get around and much valuable information is proved by the Tourist office. If it saves time use taxis to explore .

Since I travelled from Poland into another city in Poland it was simple and easy to get around using public transport. But I had no time and I just googled and took a walk at Piotrowska street. It was just a pleasant surprise. I found about this street during googling while I was on the train. It didnt disappoint me.

The apartment was in a poor condition. It smelt, dirty, dead flies, broken blinds, broken lights. We also requested for 5 beds but only gave one double bed so 3 of us had to sleep on the sofa bed which made it difficult as some wanted to sleep and the others dodnt. I’ve spoken to booking.com who spoken to the apartment and they agreed fault but when I called the apartment and they gave me verbal abuse along with racial abuse. Research and have a rough plan of what you would like to do, before you go and check out the opening times of where you would like to visit first etc. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear as a good place to explore on foot.
