Our host was quick to share additional information about the property prior to us reaching. She also met us during our check in time and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. The tent itself was extremely comfortable and warm, even during the wintertime. It was also wonderfully decorated with a few cookies / treats offered to us by the host. This was a great place to stay towards the end of our trip with its close proximity to the airport, spacious facilities, and accommodating host. As a plus, we also saw the Northern Lights from the tent!

Due to car rental office was closed late in the evening, host bring us from airport late in the evening for very low fee and bring back to airport in the morning!

The room is very cozy and the kitchen has everything you need. From the kitchen you get an unforgettable view on the ocean & mountains.

The dinner was more than excellent. The checking was easy. The staff of two men was outstanding. This a very informal and casual situation and there is someone available at any time. The setting is on the water and spectacular. One member of our party required gluten and dairy free food. This was not a problem as they had food for her wirh no advanced notice. This is an old property kept in excellent condition. We will be back on our next trip to Norway. We have been to Norway 10 times and this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Incidentally the property is not in Harstad but is on E6. I highly recommend this property

The beds were super comfortable. The tent stay was magical. The food was mostly fantastic - the best fish stew I have ever had and great fresh breads. The hike to the small mountain across the street was a treat.
