This is truly one of the most incredible places and hotels I have visited in my life ! Both my daughter (age 6) and I truly loved EVERYTHING The Namkhan had to offer. In fact, the tranquility of the surroundings, as well as the wonderful set up of the hotel (including lots of playground equipment for kids) meant that we unintentionally decided to spend a full day of our stay simply at the hotel itself. The staff is so wonderfully friendly - anticipating needs but not intrusive at all. And the food was scrumptious especially with the Farm-to-Table approach from its beautiful gardens. My daughter and I even had a go at cooking our own Laotian meal! I also can highly recommend the Namkhan Tents for those who would like a slightly different accommodation experience - both really comfortable and with a really special outdoor private space at the river. We are literally already planning our next trip to Luang Prabang just to visit the Namkhan again!

Rien c'est un scandale que Booking propose de tel établissements. Je suis arrivé sur place comme prévu à 22h après avoir tourné pendant 3/4 h parce que personne ne connait cet hôtel. Arrivé sur place deux personnes étaient devant l'entrée. Une qui semblait alcoolisée et l'autre qui ne parlait que chinois. La personne qui semblait alcoolisée me dit qu'ils ont un problème et qu'ils ne peuvent plus louer de chambre. La personne chinoise m'emmène en scooter à un autre hôtel à 3kms encore plus isolé. Il me dépose devant la porte et s'en va à toute vitesse. Cet hôtel n'avait pas de chambre disponible. Je me suis retrouvé en pleine campagne la nuit avec mon sac à dos. J'ai marché un long moment le long de cet route. Par chance une jeune touriste Italienne qui passait en scooter c'est arretee et m'a emmené dans sa gursthouse ou j'ai pu trouver une chambre à minuit. Je suis très en colère envers Booking qui propose des hôtels sans avoir des informations fiables sur ceux ci.

Apparemment spacieux, propre très calme, très confortable, piscine avec vue magnifique. A 10 minutes du centre en scooter. Propriétaire toujours arrangeant.

Our room was cleaned every day with two new free bottles of water, hot water shower, AC and fan.. Breakfast was included à la carte with one nice food option and one drink option. Very near to most important temple and monks' procession in the morning. 10-15 Min walk from night market. The host was very friendly, we could pay USD or Kip, and he was available to prepare breakfast even before the scheduled breakfast time! Thank you

The future is outstanding. That staff is so helpful! Not a hoax, very personable and polite. Morning breakfast is great, but it's very clean and there are many things that prevent us from doing so. Great location, 5-10 minutes walk. Evaluation is valid for bo ra type. Thanks a lot.
