On the beach you can find turtle nests. On the main street of Kalamaki you will find grocery stores and souvenir shops as well as taverns with delicious food. I recommend Heliotropio!

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Zakynthos and the accommodation at Villa Guest House made a special contribution to this. It is located very close to the center of Kalamaki, Kalamaki beach and Zakynthos. It is also close to Laganas, and quite convenient to the beaches in the south of the island. The hosts gave us all the information that we needed, Irine was very nice and explained all the details and facilities of the villa, and Spyros gave us a lot of useful information about the location, beaches, recommended restaurants and places to visit , even in the few days when the weather was not exactly favorable. The villa offers all the facilities you need in order to enjoy a happy holiday, including nice terraces and a barbecue. A very well maintained garden and lots of greenery. I warmly recommend the accommodation, we hope to come back here!

Had late check in after a long flight and they opened the kitchen to accommodate us with dinner and nothing was a bother to all the staff and they could speak our language and understand us.
