Excellent facilities, comfy, all modern and brand new and had everything I needed for my stay. Superb location, quiet but just a short trip into town and was an excellent base for exploring Orkney. The lovely host Dorothy welcomed me when I arrived, and the locally made cheese, biscuits and shortbread were great!

Fiona and Colin were brilliant hosts. The breakfasts are fresh and cooked to order, along with a wide selection of cereals and juices. Our room was spotless and roomy, with a big closet for hanging up rain-dampened clothes. It’s a 20-minute walk to the centre of Kirkwall, or a 6£ cab ride if you’re coming back from the pubs. There is ample parking on the property.

The host is so helpful and accomodating since we arrived pretty late. He help with instructions and good advice. The breakfast was amazing and the room/bathroom very modern and comfortable.
