We place a great deal of value on every experience you have during your two years with us. Because learning only begins with books and classroom lectures; it continues with all-nighters for projects and late-night debates in the dining halls, in the field for an internship and at a talk by your corporate hero.
The history of BITS Pilani spans over 120 years. Beginning as a pathshala at the village of Pilani in 1901, it transformed into a college in the year of our independence, 1947. In 1964 it was granted the status of a deemed university and soon after tied up with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to bring world class technical and scientific education to India.
The new century saw the institute expand to three more campuses at Dubai (2000), Goa (2004), and Hyderabad (2008). In 2020 BITS Pilani was granted the coveted status of an Institution of Eminence by the Govt of India as a recognition of its legacy of excellence, entrepreneurship and leadership. BITSoM is the fifth campus of BITS Pilani with a vision to take forward this legacy into the field of management education.
Our distinguished Governing Council plays a critical role as the principal executive body of BITSoM. It provides strategic direction to the school and promotes an environment that advances a unique brand of education.
