Reports describe specific weird generators that generate Metal and Energy. The good news is that these are capturable, as long as units are near it. It was also discovered that more and bigger units increased the rate of capture
Even more important is the discovery of capturable Scavenger drop-beacons.
Once captured, they spawn reprogrammed Scavenger reinforcements that no longer attacked, but helped the Commander. So to gain an advantage against Scavengers, try to capture as many beacons as possible.
Update: The reprogrammed Scavenger Units were not controllable, so they are autonomous in their behavior on the battlefield.
Also spotted lately are larger Scavenger Nano-turrets. Rumors are that Scavengers did capture these, so we might be able to capture them as well.
