Born in France in 1977, Hepnotes was initially influenced byKraftwork, Herbie Handcock,Joe Jackson and T he Cure, before discovering the sound ofelectronic music in the early '90s.Captivated by European Techno and American Hardhousehe soon began mixing at severallocal events, sometimes sharing the decks with his idols ofthe time.Around 2000, feeling that the French Techno movement wasbecoming a bit stale,he departed for new horizons, both electronic and other,before returning in 2011 witha newly defined style ranging from Techno,Breakbeat/Offbeat, and Industrial.
