Mateo Robles aka Nøvek, was born in Mar del Plata(Argentina). After searching and exploring different musical styles, he found his sound identity in the Techno scene. Novek's sound is nourished by a sonic flexibility, allowing him to oscillate and merge elements and characteristics of Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) and Minimal, without being limited or encased in a single genre. Both in his dj sets and productions, he is characterized by hypnotic atmospheres, solid grooves and psychedelic textures, using his sound as a means to propose a journey from introspection to collective connection on the dancefloor through listening and dancing, as he considers music and sounds as a powerful way of liberation and transformation, beyond the recreational. His latest releases have been released on labels such as Xelima Records(Argentina), R3volution Records(Italy), and DRAMA
