Maria Yu

Maria Yu is an ex model/ talent based in Tokyo, Japan. She grew up surrounded by electronic music and by the age of 21 she moved to China where she worked as a model in Beijing and Shanghai. Around that time she got influenced by the European club music culture, and the underground dance events. Eventually, she became attracted to the sounds of house and techno. In 2018 she made her DJ debut in Shanghai and since then she’s been actively DJing in a variety of venues throughout Japan such as Womb, Zero, Zouk, Joule, O-East and Octagon. Her main genre is Latin Tech House. With her debut release coming up on Overtones Records and plenty of more music on the pipeline, Maria Yu is sure to be a name
