ANRA (UA)

Starting with studio jam sessions in 2019, the Kyiv-based duo ANRA has developed its own signature style. Spending hundreds of hours experimenting with analogue synthesizers, they aim to capture people's attention with a powerful sound, beautiful harmonies, and catchy melodies - all wrapped in a hardware-based setup, bringing fresh, improvisational, and experimental melodic techno to the stage. ANRA positions itself more as a live act rather than a DJ duo, and this distinction is likely its defining characteristic. The formula of ANRA's sound is simple: powerful basslines with some acid elements, appealing and haunting main leads, and hypnotic pads. These elements create a unique euphoric and enigmatic atmosphere, setting them apart.
