Story
From executive producers of The Walking Dead and Travis Beacham, the writer of Pacific Rim, comes a heart-stopping Audible Original featuring a brilliant British cast. It’s the near future and seven years since a comet hit the earth and blotted out the sun. The world is a dark, frozen landscape. And then, beastly creatures emerge and take over. A story of apocalypse, horror, and adventure, Impact Winter is a wholly original new saga created just for Audible with immersive 3D audio that dares you to pop in your earbuds and listen in the dark.

Gripping narrative

Finished it in almost a single sitting, easy listen. At times the background sound was a bit too much and made it hard to understand what the main character was saying, the difficulty was compounded by her accent. World building wasn't detailed and you had to simply go with it but it felt believable so kudos to the writer. Having said that, more world building would have made it even better.

Story
What is the meaning of life? It's a question every thoughtful person has pondered at one time or another. Indeed, it may be the biggest question of all-at once profound and universal, but also deeply personal. We want to understand the world in which we live, but we also want to understand how to make our own lives as meaningful as possible; to know not only why we're living, but that we're doing it with intention, purpose, and ethical commitment.

Enlightening

Took me a couple of months to finish it. It was wonderful getting to know the thoughts of great minds in the history and quenched a little of my thirst to understand the meaning of life. One thing to note however, is that the historical perspectives that we are reading/listening now are interpretations by people who came after the pioneers. That can mean we aren't getting to know what they truly thought but at least are closer to the real thing.
Everyone should take this course and similar lectures should be a part of mandatory coursework in schools.
