The Worst Wedding Date is a frolicking good time of a destination-wedding enemies-to-lovers rom-com, complete with a good-girl bridesmaid, her best friend’s troublemaking but secretly bighearted brother, and more than one hitch on the way to happily ever after. It stands alone, has no cheating, and comes complete with ooey gooey goodness.

That was fun and many lol moments
Just the right story to escape to a holliday destination, meet quirky and funny characters, Kittens.
Yes, there are emotional moments, but not overly dramatic and sappy ( I hate those)
And there is the funniest epilogue to top it all.
Just how i like it !

Liked the story, female narrator not so much
I love Pippa Grant's books, most of all those with animals included. Her humor is awesome and the romantic in me always loves the swoonworthy scenes. And although this is not my favorite Story of hers, I liked it and rate it 4 Stars.
As for the narrators - the male n. was great. The female n. though... Her voice irritated me a lot. When she was talking in a male voice, it almost sounded like Kermit the frog was taking over. And whenever the female voices were agitated or surprised or somehow emotional, her voice got so high pitched and once towards the end of the ab, her high pitch got into dog whistle territory... I startled even a little, it was that OTT. Being able to make characters come to life with your voice only is a sort of an art, IMO. But this was too much for my liking.
According to my issues with the female narrator, I combined the 1,5 Stars I'd rate her performance with and the 4,5 Stars for the male narrator to 3 Stars in total.
So basically, the overall rating was between 3 and 4 Stars- but in the end, Fred the kitten made me give it 4 Stars :-)
