About this listen
The galaxy’s worst bounty hunter just might be its most relentless hero.
Esper Richelieu is a wizard with a mission: To make the galaxy a better place one lost soul at a time.
Donning the trappings of an interstellar bounty hunter, she delves into the galaxy’s underworld to search out those most in need of help. Whether it’s a teenage runaway or an actor kidnapped by cultists, the victim comes first.
Money is an afterthought. That confuses a lot of clients.
But sometimes the best way to get someone to accept the help they need is to convince them to pay for it. Other times, clients unwittingly fund their own reparations by hiring the last person who’d want to aid them in continuing their wicked ends.
But are pure intentions enough against the vilest forces in the galaxy?

If you liked Galaxy Outlaws...
You're going to love this!
Lots of new and old characters alike, with one of the new characters being my all time favourite of the series.
The pace and escalation of events flow more similar to Galaxy Outlaws than Astra Prime, which I was happy about.

Brilliant
Just like the others, this was an amazing series. I'd say the first 2 collections were better but only by a little.

Amazing Journey, Fab Narration
I love this author and these long, serialized stories that they write. I've read everything available to date and it's all been a delight to listen to. Fun, goofy, clever but with some teeth and darkness. If you liked Firefly the TV show, you will like this author's works.
Honestly, these story archs should be made into the next Stargate-style TV show.

Not as good as mobius adventures but still good
Esper gets a bit tedious in large doses but still great, needed to take a break between mission around the middle section

Starts good, but….
Starts off good, but in the last 10-15 hours it’s like a slow painful death.
Narrator performance spot-on as always

Story line promising, but....
The story has a lot going for it. But the guy reading it.... My God. It sounds like an infomercial. Wayyy to stiff and official.

lacking something the first series had
As always, really well written on a technical level, fun to listen to and there some actual laugh out loud moments. The narrator never fails to impress me with his range.
This one feels like it could be trimmed up a bit though with several of the missions feeling like they meander around solutions. I get Esper's arc but it also doesn't really feel like her at the same time. Dark Esper saga feels tedious, I'd rather just skip to the end then watch the main character watch herself.
Westley saved this series because he has heart, which is weird considering Esper was the moral compass on the Mobius.
