Story
Tom, my husband, is always watching, controlling my every move. He chooses my clothes, my hairstyle, even instructing what and how much I’m allowed to eat – just ten measly mouthfuls. I’ve become isolated from those I love, forbidden to work and stuck at home to fulfil his every whim. My identity along with my life is long gone. I am slowly suffocating but I know Tom will never, ever let me leave alive. A chance encounter with Savannah changes everything. Tom couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. Could she be my saviour?

This had me on edge & the storyline was fantastic. The only downside was Tamara’s voice which I found irritating but it suited her character. Looking forward to reading another book.

I absolutely loved ‘Something in the Water’ so was excited to find this book. Unfortunately I kept waiting for the good parts but they didn’t come. It was clever but sadly didn’t have me hooked, so I couldn’t wait for it to end.

I absolutely love this author & normally give 5 stars but although this was good, it wasn’t great. There were some twists though which brought it up from 3 stars.
