Story
When Addie La Rue makes a pact with the devil, she trades her soul for immortality. But there's always a price - the devil takes away her place in the world, cursing her to be forgotten by everyone. Addie flees her tiny home town in 18th-century France, beginning a journey that takes her across the world, learning to live a life where no one remembers her and everything she owns is lost and broken. Existing only as a muse, she learns to fall in love anew every single day.

Story
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

Very enjoyable - just a bit too much sex
Reviewed: 02-01-2024
Gripping, exciting story. Interesting and compellingly constructed world. A few too many and overly long sex scenes that didn’t add to the narrative or character building. But overall, I greatly enjoyed the book, the world and the characters. Looking forward to the next instalment … a lot.

Story
Now that Trip’s siblings are safely back in the capital, he would like it if life got back to normal. As normal as possible for a half-dragon army officer learning to use his magical powers when he isn’t busy piloting with Wolf Squadron. But trouble keeps popping up, and the capital isn’t the safe haven Trip had hoped. More and more dragons are working together, with attacks growing frequent as they scheme to claim the country for themselves.

Loved all the dragon blood books

Adventure and romance that’s suspenseful and exciting yet remains lighthearted. Enjoyable escapism. Have loved every book and the performance is great. Each character with a unique voice. It’s not subtle or high brow but it sure is entertaining.
