It took a bit of time for me to get in to the story as there is nothing setting up the “world” the characters are in (felt like I started at book 2 rather then 1)

Took me a little while catch on to the background of the main characters, aside from that this is a fascinating story about a young man with an amazing connection to the trees and drive to do the right thing for his family and others like him.
The narrator has a lovely rich voice

Love this modern take on how witches and warlocks can help keep the balance of good in current times.
Only downside is it is not a stand alone book, with the end of the book feeling more like an end to a chapter.
Great story telling skills by the narrator and hope they turn more of the series in to audiobooks

I was not sure I would be able to stick with this while listening to the first chapter about a game of spin the bottle. But after that, the storyline quickly picked up and I found myself sitting in the car, listening, just a bit more before moving onto daily life. I look forward to the rest of the series being turned into audibles

What an amazing story for Minecraft crazy fans. Engaging enough to keep the attention of young and old. there’s no need to know anything about Minecraft before starting the book. We’ve lost track of how many times our family has played this book.
The narrating is well passed and the music and sound effects are a lovely addition.
Wish Max would do more then the 3 corrently out
