I was totally drawn into this story from the first words of the narration .
Helen s performance was magic. The story hints of the potential scope that could unfold and I can’t wait to see where it go’s. Apocalyptically martial arts intensity, spiritual , Religious and political , all threads drawing the listener into an icy world .
Pure dark , mystical and bloody masterpiece.

Story
Since time immemorial, the Spires have sheltered humanity, towering for miles over the mist-shrouded surface of the world. Within their halls, aristocratic houses have ruled for generations, developing scientific marvels, fostering trade alliances, and building fleets of airships to keep the peace. Captain Grimm commands the merchant ship Predator. Fiercely loyal to Spire Albion, he has taken their side in the cold war with Spire Aurora, disrupting the enemy"s shipping lines by attacking their cargo vessels.

Sequel to the extraordinary The Name of The Wind, The Wise Man’s Fear is the second instalment of this superb fantasy trilogy from Patrick Rothfuss. This is the most exciting fantasy series since George R. R. Martin"s A Song of Ice and Fire, and a must for all fans of HBO"s Game of Thrones.
