About this listen

The machines brought society to its knees. Now, the last remaining humans fight for survival - and to take back what's theirs.

Junior, a robotics expert, tinkers quietly underground. With dozens of machine kills under his belt, he knows the enemy inside and out.

Alpha0verride, a reclusive black hat hacker, uses the skills acquired over a life of shady activity to outwit the hyper-intelligent machines swarming in on her.

Brick, a special forces operator and one of the few Pentagon survivors, fights his inner demons to embark on the most important mission of his life.

Together they are humanity’s last, best hope - if they can only find each other in time.

Leveraging his decades of active military and intelligence community service, Trilobyte is the techno-thriller only J. L. Bourne could write.

Best Bourne yet?

This audiobook is awesome for several reasons:
1. Multiple narrators really fits the style
2. Enjoyable, suspenseful plot
3. The scenario is one of the few severe, post-apocalyptic futures which is sincerely believable, and that really causes you to contemplate the story.

another knockout for J. L Blourne

it's really amazing how creative J.L was with this one. knowing his backstory I can't believe someone like him could even fathom a world with this much depth. He really did his research and it's a phenomenal read.

On the edge of my seat.

I love the storyline and love that there is another world under the manipulation of Mr Bourne. I can’t wait for the next installment.

A Must for JL Bourne fans.

I was skeptical of joining Audible just to listen to this. I’m glad I got over this story not being in print. A really entertaining take on artificial intelligence, future technologies and even world pollution. Like A Quiet Place meets the Terminator is the best I can describe this story.

Bourne Regenerates the Post Apocalypse And deals Terrifying Visions of What This Series May Bring!

Guys, I was so very excited to be starting this audiobook just a few days ago. It did NOT disappoint. I tore through it, hanging on to see what would come next. A definite page-turner with great characters and frightening new horrors. This latest work from one of my very favorite authors and a fellow Veteran, #JLBourne, once again (as with #TomorrowWar) shows that he can step outside of the niche that made him a best-selling author and consistently deliver original, exciting and terrifying new worlds in the post-apocalyptic landscape.

This latest takes us to a future Hell on Earth, a novel that holds terrifying nightmares that will be sure to keep the reader dialed in and unable to put it down. Original, genuinely frightening... just damn good writing. The narration is superb!

Enjoy!!!

Phenomenal work from start to finish.

This book will have you feeling for each characters individual situations the when way thru. As always, J.L. Bourne's signature journalistic formatting gives true life to each character. Keep freakig Phreaking.

Another outstanding book from J.L. Bourne

Read Day by Day Armageddon in 2008 while deployed to Iraq, loved the book. Every book by Bourne I have really enjoyed. This book is a little different from the others but I was surprised how good it was. Only issue is that I waited to give it a try, wasn't sure if the subject matter was something I would enjoy. Bournes writing style and the narrators turned this book into something great.
