Extremely Prescribed Book
I am learning so much from the book. I didn"t realize how much stress I associated with eating. Thank you for this book! One less thing to worry about! The principles of Intuitive Eating are so simple yet so contrary to what we were taught and likely passed along to our kids. I highly recommend this book!

Exactly what I have needed!
I am actually still listening it. It almost feels like it was spoken for me! I have a notebook and I am doing every question. I have listen several other books on emotional eating, but this one has been very helpful.

Excellent book
This book is great if you have a sense of responsibility with yourself, the exercises listed may make you see things from a very different perspective, which is a very good start when you want to overcome an emotional eating since you tend to think more in a black/white way. It also has some traits of mindfulness which I personally love and has proven to be very effective even with borderline. I strongly encourage to read it, even if you don"t like it you will end up understanding affirmation and mini habits. a lot better, which implies understanding yourself better.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly
The epilogue gave me chills. It is amazing to me that the very day she was finishing her manuscript, her beloved son Jonathan was taking his own life (completely unbeknownst to her at the time). That she was able to walk through his death, funeral and her own grieving process without emotional eating is a testament to the power of her commitment to her own recovery and the tools laid out in this book.

Just love this book
I love this book. I have had it a few weeks now and am working in it almost daily. For the first time in many years--this week I lost weight. It"s easy to understand and not preachy. Simple and to the point. I especially benefited from understanding the difference between overeating and binge eating. Different approaches seem to work. Have only binged once since I got it and limited it to cheese and apples instead of pancakes and chocolate cake. It will help me save my life

Best ideas ever.
If you have fought for a serious long time to endeavor to shed pounds this is the book for you. I acknowledge the information, the movement is glorious and it looks good. I should have obliged one of the related social occasions since I did unimaginable for quite a while and a short time later started eating sugar again and halted my headway.

So many information
This book is life changing. It is so well rounded in helping your recovery. The exercises really make you think and can be challenging at times. It makes you really dig deep. I would recommend using this in conjunction with a therapist. There is so much great information about intuitive eating and its presented in a way that isn"t scary or overwhelming. Excellent book.
