About this listen

This is the first three books in this six book series.

In a world where magic is real, Alex is about to learn that being shot in the head was only the beginning. God has given him a choice: to take the life of the person meant to die that day and forget who he was, or to keep being Alex and transition to a world of magic where God would give him the tools to survive. Alex, an avid fan of fantasy, chooses the latter and is thrown through a black portal into a world he never could have imagined.

Once there, he discovers that he has the ability to wield all five Elemental magics: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Mind. But the power is changing him, and he is quickly learning that his title as "The Elemental Summoner" is feared by everyone in the world of Boromour. Every thousand years, an Elemental Summoner is born who can wield all five Elemental magics and usually ends up destroying everything around them in their quest for power. Alex must learn to control his powers before it"s too late.

As he navigates this new world, Alex meets sexy, powerful monster girls who may be able to help him control his power and keep him from becoming evil. But as he learns more about Boromour and the dangers that come with his powers, he realizes that the stakes are higher than he could have ever imagined.

This blockbuster series is full of adventure, magic, mayhem, and monster girls with fluffy tails. Will Alex be able to harness his power and save the world of Boromour, or will he succumb to the same fate as his predecessors?

This series contains the unabridged text, mayhem, monster girls, fluffy tails, and just plain lots of magic.

Inconsistent

Great voice acting and fun story, the only issue is the story isn’t consistent throughout. Without giving spoilers there’s several times that the story randomly changes. There’s times a characters name changes. The main character Alex also never uses his power to its potential, he also never uses his secondary power more than once or twice. Other times characters elements randomly change from one element in one book to a different element and back story the next book. The best example of this is at the end of book 5 and going into book 6 where a new character is introduced. Overall it’s an entertaining time passing series. Just annoying when you start to get into the illusion of the story and then there’s plot holes and inconsistency’s that throw off everything.

an interesting read

I mainly only got this book set after buying the first part earlier because it came in a bundle.
First with the naration. I thought both male and female voice acters could have done with a bit more variation in their voices and not just a deeper or higher pitch voice change whichwas in most cases.
As for the story, the writer did play a bit too much on the surprise factor. Everyone acting surprised at X, Y or Z when they are living in a world of magic. At some point, the littlest things should not be surprising anymore. And they kept blurting simple phrases. The writer could use a bit more creativity on their responses to situations and not simply have them be surprised at every new development.
The gramatical errors were a bit too much too throughout the whole thing. Other than these issues, it was a great story and I"ll consider buying the next bundle but because of how short it is, I dont think I would until then.

Pretty good story. While there are a few very big annoyances it is a story that me hooked from beginning to end.

it"s ok..

they are decent books but. the author needs to consolidate when he casts multiple spells and not make it"s listen to "you have cast xx for xx power" 6 time in a row. it"s like there was a word quota and you used that to fill it. but the most frustrating thing is that the MC was supposed to be a gamer and a self proclaimed "otaku" but he doesn"t meet there by any stretch of the imagination because well, it"s just that... he doesn"t have any imagination whatsoever. even a half assed gamer would have used their gaming knowledge and imagination to create better spells than just the "bullets" the spell commands slightly make up for it but still just the fact that he created the rifle shows that it is way more flexible then it seems and he doesn"t even attempt to create anything else.. it"s such a let down..

p.s. I have only listened to 4 of the books but for it to be this far along I will hold my breath for it to student change as that would probably make even less sense

Great story overall

Great story but I give only three stars on performance due to the persistent clicking noise in the background. It’s very distracting to me. I enjoy it not having excessive stats and character progression is good. The MC is not overpowered is also a plus. Looking forward to the rest of this series
