Reverse Age Gap, He falls first.
Reviewed: 09-18-24
I have really enjoyed my journey through The Law of Opposites Attract series, each book has been a delight to read and I am sad to have the series end. Brayden and Alex story was and age gap where he falls first and a mixture of hate to love romance. Alex was very resistant of Brayden due to their age gap, I also felt she had not let her ex husband go completely. Brayden was persistent, he knew what he wanted and he was going after it. I really enjoyed Brayden and Alex's heart and how they so readily gave back. This book had a crazy twist but it worked. I loved the supporting characters, the story development, and how Alex and Brayden decided to make things work. overall great book.

The Queen of Angst did again! Ash Talmadge was worth the wait! I was no stranger to the history between Amelia and Ash I loved how we finally were able to fill in the gaps of what exactly happened between them. I honestly did not want to put this book down. I felt every obstacle they experienced. Amelia has so many vulnerablities in her personal and business life. She is also passionate about her work and her goals. Ash is a broken soul but he is also so charming. Ash and Amelia are truly meant to be and the journey they made to get there was so heart warming. If you are looking for a brother's best friend romance done right with the perfect amount of angst this is your book! Another must read by Linde!

No one on this planet pushes my buttons like Hollin Abbey. I don’t know if it’s the rugged, sexy cowboy look or the Harley Davidson motorcycle, or the cocky swagger. Or just him. But whenever we’re together we fight like cats and dogs. Now, our vineyards are rivals in the annual wine competition, and I’m determined to win.

Enemies to lovers in the middle of a rival!
Reviewed: 01-10-22
It is no secret I am a fan of Linde's work and the Wright series and this book added to my delightment! If you read the books leading up to this one, then it is no secret to you the rival between Hollin and Piper. (If you have not read any if the other books you can read this one fine) Hollin historically has not been interested in settling down and more intersted in playing the field due to his history. Piper has been in a long term on again off again relationship but she has realized maybe it is not a relationship that will last long term. Piper and Hollin are two people that rile each other so to think that they would be in a relationship is comical with the way they despise each other. In true Linde fashion I loved the way Hollin was able to break down Piper's walls and prove her perceptions wrong. Piper was able to get an authentic view of who Hollin was. I loved Piper's determination in her career and personal life. I enjoyed how Linde touch on an issue with Hollin that you do not see in males often. If you are looking for your next read to fall in love with this is your book. It is an slightly angsty, slightly steamy, sprinkle some fun, and an enemies to lovers this is your book!

Derek Ballentine and I have always been on opposite sides of everything. I went to a public Savannah high school. He went to a private Catholic school. I went to Duke on scholarship. He went to UNC as a legacy. When we both end up at Harvard for graduate school, and we’re finally on a level playing field, I think it’s all going to change. I was wrong.

Kyla has the ability to write a book in a genre that I do not typically like and make me think twice about my dislike. Derek and Marley story begins and high school and expands into their adult life. They come from two different worlds but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Marley is very determined, smart, hard-working, and is looking to change the world. Derek is following the path of his family and sometimes makes him not my favorite, but through the book he grew on me. Derek and Marley is unlikely pair that was perfect for each other. I loved the development of their relationship over the course of the book. The emotional rollercoaster kept me wanting to know more. I will say that I loved how Kyla was able cameo other characters in this book. If you are a fan of enemies to lover or if you are not, you will enjoy this book! Grab this book and dive in now!

Story
Samson and Beyah have nothing in common on the surface. She comes from a life of poverty and neglect; he comes from a family of wealth and privilege. But one thing they do have in common is that they're both drawn to sad things. Which means they're drawn to each other. Beyah and Samson agree to stay in the shallow end of a summer fling. What Beyah doesn't realize is that a rip current is coming, and it's about to drag her heart out to sea.

When Anna wakes up from a coma after a car crash, she discovers life has gone on without her. Her husband has been unfaithful - with her best friend - and she’s been long since replaced at work. While her old life is a distant memory, her new life feels like an empty shell. Then she meets the stranger who saved her life during the crash, and he changes everything. Leif Larsen - tattooist, joker, and player - has his own scars thanks to the crash that put Anna in a coma. Helping her move on from her failed marriage, and create a new life, sounds like a perfect distraction.

Story
As a doctor, I walk a dangerously delicate balance of being compassionate but not overly invested. The same is true in my personal life - love is a luxury I can’t afford. It isn’t until Dr. Westin Grant breaks down all my walls and offers me a future, I find myself wondering if I’m brave enough to risk my heart. When who I was and who I’ve tried to become collide during my clinical trial, the fate of one patient changes everything.

Serenity and Westin are both doctors dedicated to their work. They have a relationship of convenience but Westin wants more. I really did not connect with Serenity and how she was so hung up on her past. I admired the field of medicine that she went in to deal with her loss. I enjoyed Westin and his patience. The story has a good mix of emotions and great supporting characters. The story does draw you in and keeps your attention.

Liv is stubbornly independent. Liv and Jackson's intial meeting was not favorable but they worked past it and formed a beautiful friendship/relationship. I loved how caring and loving both Jackson and Liv both are in the story. I loved seeing the "Ready Series" people in the story. Overall, good story.

Ever Montgomery suffered the ultimate betrayal by the one man who she should have been able to count on for anything. It has left her hurt, jaded, and incapable of forming relationships, but it also means that she can spot a liar a mile away. These traits are earning her a reputation as a reporter with a keen nose for a good story and a complete understanding of the extreme power of the written word.

I thought this book was refreshing. It is a book that makes you laugh, maybe cry, happy, and sometimes sad. The banter is great. The romance is great. The lesson is let go of perceptions and see people for who they are. Another great book in the series.

This was a great second chance romance. Renner and Cillian meet again after five years. Renner has come to Dublin to escape the states after a bad break up. She is a rule follower and does what is expected of her. She has no interest in Cillian this time around. Cillian is cocky, sexy, alpha and is determine to get Renner. I really enjoyed the dynamic between between Cillian and Renner. There was the right amount of push and pull. Story was paced well. Overall good story
