A Story to revisit
Reviewed: 08-05-22
I have listened to this series many times because I love it. The story is unique enough to capture the imagination and let it spiral with images. The length of the series is something I also enjoy a great deal because he spends a lot of time on character development. This is vital to keep such a large host of characters all alive and functioning together. I would highly recommend this series if you have the patience and imagination necessary to see the beauty of this story.

Feels like home
Reviewed: 05-30-22
For everyone who has read his series before I would say that this one feels like home. Adventure, intrigue and the art being used to cause havoc again. It is truly a gift to be able to “continue” a series in the same world in a different time that feels the same. I also loved Robins review and I am glad they saved the monk a bit.

Profiling
Reviewed: 03-25-19
If you like profiling this is an excellent book. Has a bit of fluff, “ Oh I don’t want you but I need you!” Which is ok in small pieces, but the profiling of serial killers in this book has been researched and is worth listening to. This is my second book from this author and she’s good. Not stay up all night good but good, worth reading

Story
Herman Wouk's sweeping epic of World War II, which begins with The Winds of War and continues here in War and Remembrance, stands as the crowning achievement of one of America's most celebrated storytellers. Like no other books about the war, Wouk's spellbinding narrative captures the tide of global events - and all the drama, romance, heroism, and tragedy of World War II - as it immerses us in the lives of a single American family drawn into the very center of the war's maelstrom.

Stephen king is one of my favorites I will read everything he writes but I don't always like his book and stories. I liked this one, I love children with special powers and protective parents. This being said the ending was terrible! I want to know more, I want to know what happens to this little girl, please write a sequel. This book is definitely worth reading.

Not very often can an author get away with killing off a main character but they did it! The narrator was awesome in this book and the story was interesting and well developed. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series and maybe all the Jonathan Mayberry books.
