Story
Public speaking can be terrifying. For David Nihill, the idea of standing in front of an audience was scarier than cliff jumping into a thorny pit of spiders and mothers-in-law. Without a parachute or advanced weaponry. Something had to change.
In what doesn"t sound like the best plan ever, David decided to overcome his fears by pretending to be a comedian called "Irish Dave" for one full year, crashing as many comedy clubs, festivals, and shows as possible.

Wasn’t really sure what this book was about but took a chance and very glad I did! After 50 years in an extremely uncreative and boring job (pharmacy). I now want to put myself out there in the most frightening and out of my comfort zone place I can imagine, even if it’s only once. Thanks Dave Nihill for the inspiration! Did I mention that he’s also really funny? 💕

Story
Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Gad Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic firsthand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society.

So sorry that I wasted my time

Worthless drivel on so many levels. With all Saad’s talk about freedom, he totally tries to persuade readers to ‘think his way,’ awful arrogant and annoying.
