This book is full if all kinds of good info! I’m gonna change the way I train with how Andrew describes how to do things like hill repeats, strides, intervals, etc. my running buddies are sick of me sharing new info that I was learning from this book! Definitely worth a read if you wanna up your game in running!

It was awesome to listen the story of these boys in 1936, and of their struggles and triumphs. I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would!

I am a runner, but have yet to try an ultra distance yet. I love how it shows Corey as a normal person who can run one of the toughest races in the world. I love the history of the Death Valley area and the Badwater Race are given, and how it relates to Corey. Most of all i love the inspiration am guidance it gives not only about running, but about life!

I absolutely love the relationship he has with his daughter!! I think family is the most important thing these days! I am not a climber myself, but i find the sport fascinating! So learning a bit more about the sport and terms was interesting! With some of the experience they have I did expect some analogies to life lessons or for it to turn into an inspirational self help book. It just stuck with the stories and memoirs of their excursions. It was interesting, but I guess I was hoping for more inspiration!

As a runner I appreciate the power of David’s mind! I love his story of overcoming obstacles in his life, persevering, and working hard to obtain goals! I am in awe of his experiences and how he handled challenges!! I love how he creates challenges for the reader/listener to apply in their life! I hope to use this to better myself as an athlete and a person!
