Story
While Eve examines a fresh body in Washington Square Park, her husband, Roarke, spots a man among the onlookers he’s known since his younger days on the streets of Dublin. A man who claims to be his half brother. A man who kills for a living - and who burns with hatred for him. Eve is quick to suspect that the victim’s spouse - resentful over his wife’s affair and poised to inherit her fortune - would have happily paid an assassin to do his dirty work. Roarke is just as quick to warn her that if Lorcan Cobbe is the hitman, she needs to be careful.

Loved this one very much, Roarke got the chance to close old wounds and Eve got the chance to lock away another killer.

Story
Decades ago in the small town of Fogg Lake, The Incident occurred: an explosion in the cave system that released unknown gases. The residents slept for two days. When they woke up they discovered that things had changed - they had changed. Some started having visions. Others heard ominous voices. And then, scientists from a mysterious government agency arrived. Determined not to become research subjects of strange experiments, the residents of Fogg Lake blamed their "hallucinations" on food poisoning, and the story worked. Now the eerie effects are showing up in Fogg Lake descendants.

GREAT READ

I really love this book I love the characters they were written out beautifully I would love it if there was a book 2. I love the way that the characters interact with each other. What I don't understand is why Catalina continually blamed Victor for her problems, she is the one that called the police not him, I can understand why she blamed Roger. But I still enjoy the book.

Story
On a chilly February night, during a screening of Psycho in midtown, someone sunk an ice pick into the back of Chanel Rylan's neck, then disappeared quietly into the crowds of drunks and tourists in Times Square. To Chanel's best friend, who had just slipped out of the theater for a moment to take a call, it felt as unreal as the ancient black-and-white movie up on the screen. But Chanel's blood ran red, and her death was anything but fictional.

But when Harriet summoned Gideon Westbrook Viscount St. Justin to her aid, she could not know that she was summoning the devil himself.

I have read this book and listened to it a number of times, I will listen and read it again. I love seeing the under dog get on top and stay nice and kind, and it lets you know that even being rich doesn't make you happy.

I enjoyed reading this book more than I thought I would. It showed venerable parts of a strong man with out making him weak.
