Story
Below the English town of Ipswich a tunnel boring team is digging through solid rock when unexpectedly, they break into an ancient cave system filled with animal bones. Strangely, there were also the remains of men, knights in armour. And there was one more thing found – a huge egg-shaped ruby that glowed like a setting sun. Just over 2000 miles away, still trapped on the lost island of Lemuria, Troy and Anne know that the time of monstrous beings long thought only existing in our legends or lurking in our nightmares, was returning.

The writing and superb narration come together to create a tense, action-packed and often nerve-shattering adventure. Great characters, fierce villains and creatures that are downright terrifying.
This latest work carries that outstanding standard forward. Love it!!!

The writing was very good and easy to follow. Good, terrifying account.

This is a favorite for me. It is every bit as good as the original. I picked this up at a used book store several years ago and as soon as I got a chapter in, I recognized it as the novel that inspired The Exorcist III. Great story and engaging characters and a terrifying villain(s?).
I recently bought the Audible version and it does not disappoint! I hope you will enjoy this Audible version as much as I do.

Story
Often called "Accident Park", "Class Action Park", or "Traction Park", Action Park was an American icon. Entertaining more than a million people a year in the 1980s, the New Jersey-based amusement playland placed no limits on danger or fun, a monument to the anything-goes spirit of the era that left guests in control of their own adventures - sometimes with tragic results. Action Park is the first-ever unvarnished look at the history of this DIY Disneyland, as seen through the eyes of Andy Mulvihill, the son of the park's idiosyncratic founder, Gene Mulvihill.

Story
This was not the first-time that rookie cop Michael Chambers had found himself stuck in this broken-down police vehicle while the rain bucketed down outside. In fact, this kind of "bad luck" had happened almost every time he’d been assigned car 291. Usually, he’d get a flat, or the locks would jam, or the damned on-board computer would freeze. 291, though, had a bloody and tragic history, which might explain why this piece of metallic crap seemed so intent on driving him crazy - excuse the pun.
