Story
Follow the Science recounts, in exacting detail, how far the pharmaceutical industry and its supporters in medicine, media, and government will go to protect their profits. Attkisson provides shocking examples that reveal the disturbing callousness our government, public health officials, and top researchers are capable of when it comes to the most vulnerable among us. And she explains, in a graphic sense, how some of the most trusted within our society are willing to commit life-threatening ethics violations.

Make Up Your Own Mind
Reviewed: 09-08-24
You may have had suspicions about the links between pharmaceutical companies, doctors, "medical experts", & government organizations who claim to have your best interests as their stated goal. That is what they tell you & want you to believe.
Inside "Follow the Science" Sharyl Attkisson will prove through her own investigations, research & interviews that they do not have your best interest at heart in the decisions they make and yes, they actually lie to you to advance their own interests & profits. Sharyl is one of the few investigative journalists still practicing that profession & asks the questions todays' media will not.
Much of what's inside this book will be eye opening & may be hard to believe. But she doesn't want you to simply accept her investigations as fact either. Her tag line is, "Do your own research. Make up your own mind. Think for yourself." So she welcomes you to do so.
In fact, in one of the last chapters she provides information on how to distinguish creditable sources from propaganda or narratives and names names. This alone is worth the price of the book.
Do yourself a favor and get your own copy of "Follow the Science" in whatever format works best for you and then, do your own research, make up your own mind and think for yourself.

When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh. He was in the hospital for a week. But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

Great Biography
Reviewed: 12-16-23
I titled this "Great Biography" because it was. It tells you the life story, so far, of Elon Musk, with all his accomplishments & flaws.
I learned a lot I did not know about the man & how he has achieved those accomplishments. He is an interesting character, one I sometimes like & sometimes not so much, but that can be said about all of us.
He has an amazing list of accomplishments so far. That would be hard for anyone to deny. I do respect that a great deal. Yet, I still think he is missing something, a still small voice from one much greater than him, that I hope he does hear one day.

Loved it. I knew the name, Mitch Albom, but had never read or listened to any of his books. I am happy to say that is no longer true and I expect there will be more in my future.
He tells a great story and that reveals a story behind the story that is timeless.
In this one he speaks to the loss we feel when we lose someone or even one of our four-legged furry family members with the question we often ask God, "Why did you take them from us?"
I believe you will be intrigued by the story and the way that question is handled in this one. Get your copy today!

Story
Medical doctor and national bestselling author of Make America Healthy Again Nicole Saphier reveals how politicization of the COVID-19 pandemic has baffled the public by creating distrust, fueling conspiracy theories, and making it harder for Americans to understand the necessary path forward. The pandemic has resulted in a failure of government, much of which is unavoidable in a unique disaster scenario. However, the rampant politicization of science has hopelessly muddied the water and knee-jerk anti-Trumpism made it all worse.

Deep State Target is the only firsthand account that proves the attempted sabotage of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign by American and international intelligence services, from former Trump advisor George Papadopoulos - whose global network, clandestine meetings about Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails, and rift with former Attorney General Jeff Sessions made him the first target of Spygate, the Mueller Investigation, and the Russian Collusion Hoax.

Politics, spies & corruption inside
Reviewed: 02-16-21
Inside this book you will learn just how far the "intelligence community" will go to create a narrative they want to use to advance their political agenda. Thankfully Mr. Papadopoulos did not fall for their traps. However, he did fall prey to the all too common scheme the FBI uses to coerce witnesses to say what they want them to say to implicate the true target of their setups but still did not give them what they wanted.
No American should be subjected to this abuse by our own "intelligence" organizations who are supposed to protect Americans, not implicate them in crimes they made up.
You may think you know the story as I did but you really don't until you hear what George Papadopoulos experienced inside this book.

I wanted to get to know Susannah B. Lewis before reading or listening to her latest book, "How May I Offend You Today?" and this book accomplished that goal.
It's very transparent, humorous and tragic at times but it is real and that makes it worth a listen or read or both. Being a fellow Southerner I can relate to much inside but there are naturally some parts that relate more to women than men as one would expect.
Looking forward to the next one now.

In this powerful, personal, and often humorous book, Sara opens up and shares stories from her career, describing what it’s like living in the spotlight and how her faith keeps her strong. She writes about overcoming life’s most challenging experiences, from a childhood accident that nearly took her life, to the loss she experienced when her parents divorced, and from her own painful and very public divorce, to finding incredible love when she least expected it with former pro quarterback-turned-sportscaster Jay Barker.

A lot in common

I knew I loved to hear Sara Evans sing and shared a few things in common with her - she was born in Missouri and lives in Alabama. I was born in Alabama and we lived in Missouri for about nine years before moving back home to Alabama. We both love Jay Barker, in different ways, of course. Roll Tide!
Inside "Born To Fly" I learned a lot more about Sara and her journey in life so far. It has been an interesting journey to say the least, from near death accidents to blended families, faith and women in country music. It is a very candid look at her life so far.
Hearing the author reading their book and their life is always a great experience as this was for me. I expect it will be for you too.
