Story
She was a nun of noble birth. He was a heretic, a reformer, and an outlaw of the Holy Roman Empire. In the 16th century, nun Katharina von Bora's fate fell no further than the Abbey. Until she read the writings of Martin Luther. His sweeping Catholic church reformation - condemning a cloistered life and promoting the goodness of marriage - awakened her desire for everything she'd been forbidden. Including Martin Luther himself.

I loved this book!
I love Jody Hedlund, but I've been a little hesitant to listen to this book because I felt like how could you make a passionate, love story about Martin Luther. Let me tell you Jody did it! It was a phenomenal love story! It was also exciting. Just a great overall story. And I loved learning more about Martin Luther!

I love how Jody Hedlund can write an exciting story and still keep the romance front and center. Such a good story and the romance is so rich! Love the character and their love for each other! The narrator wasn’t my favorite. A little too dramatic.

This was a good love story! I loved Cas, the male character. You fall in love with him. But I didn’t love Roxanne. She was a little spoiled and whiny. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good romance! The romance was the main storyline.
