What an incredible message. It truly was enlightening for me to see just how much we are all one people. The great sages all taught that. I loved the reminder!

My heart goes out to those people that have struggled and been affected by OxyContin. Thank you to the author for the efforts to bring this topic into a larger discussion in a digestible, humanizing way.

I am inspired as when I first heard the words “an unreasoned life is not worth living”. In examining the life of Eugene England, I am encouraged to examine my own. Even in death, he seems to be teaching by example.

While I was deeply moved and inspired by the authors best selling books, the untethered soul and living untethered, this is the most touching to me. To understand better how he applied the principles in real life give me hope that I can do the same. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wanted to understand more about the federal reserve and how it works. It started off talking about the federal reserve and how it works and then…. It went into many much deeper topics until there were parts i was thinking “is this even about the federal reserve?”….. but it was good to open my eyes that some of my biases and conceptions could use some critical thinking and evaluation. I’m not sure how much of this is 100% correct, but i feel it was 100% of what the author believes and those beliefs are certainly well informed. So if nothing else, it really causes me to be more aware and informed…. And that is ultimately why i picked up the book in the first place. While i am not informed enough to endorse everything in it 100%, my opinion is that it’s 100% with the read and consideration of the topics and views presented. It helped me realize….i need to keep reading books😉👍

it was a bit redundant and the frequent reference to charts and diagrams simply illustrates the limitations of"reading" a book like this using audible. the book did a good job of trying to lay out principles and showing the reader to draw their own conclusions. helpful for me to consider some long held biases that have different angles and perspectives.

it was a great message and makes me want to go find my own crew team.... but there's only so many different ways you can make a straight line race interesting. so the dozen taxes that all are about guys rowing gets a little redundant. reading the cliff note version and moral of the story would almost be as inspiring. but sometimes the monotony and endurance of the read is the point after all.....

who cares about what Will Smith has to say about the world? me!!! I always judge how good a book is, by how sad I am to finish. and... I'm trying not to shed a tear. loved it! music, tv, movies... and now books. that's fresh!!!

the inspiring part of the book is that the author is approachable, down to earth. He writes in a way that is relatable and for just a moment, a fleeting moment, I felt like he was kind of like me. and at the end of the book, it gives me hope that in some small way, I could be just like him. not for the money, but for the desire to improve and create and dig deep inside..... it's not about the shoes.
