Not bad but not great
Reviewed: 05-10-17
This book has great potential but it was very predictable and lacked the climax that I was hoping for. I"m debating whether to continue with the series because again it has potential but I"m also wondering if it would worth the cost....we shall see.. The narrator did a good job, she kind of reminds me of Kate Rudd who in my opinion is a great narrator.

I absolutely love this trilogy. Jeff Wheeler has become one of my favorite authors and Kate Rudd is one of the best narrators, I"m convinced that there was more than one person narrating... they are really good entertainments, I wasn"t disappointed.

Listening to the series is such a delightful nail biter because it"s so good and frustrating. I could hardly wait for the final chapter so I can figure out what the h*ll is going to happen next... It"s better than any soap opera!! The author"s writing is so awesome and descriptive and along with the narration of Kate in my mind"s eye I"m sitting in a movie theater watching everything unfold...thumbs up...I love the cameo of Leah and Colvin!!

When I started listening to the first book Fireblood I had no intention on finishing the whole series because I felt like it didnt grasp my attention but by the end of the first book, I decided to give book2 a chance and I"m happy I did because I eas bewitched and fully engrossed. The only negative thing that bothered me was the relationship between a 16yrs old and an old man... I think 21-25 would have been an appropriate age range because in my mind"s eye the image of an older man and little barely 16 year old girl kissing makes me cringe...but other than that great book!

I absolutely love this series. I laughed, smiled and cried with the characters. I didn"t want it to end. I found myself cheering for the happiness of Luka and Tess.
The only thing that"s not completely concluded is the part about Summer and how she found out about the grandmother.
