I enjoyed this story very much. I loved the character development and the issues touched. the narrator took a bit to grow on me but eventually she did. I loved the attention brought to PTSD in this story because we all need to be more aware. I loved the intelligence and strength that empowered Charlie. Thank you Kristie Haigwood for this lovely story.

This is another example of why I love K. Bromberg books. The characters she creates draw you in and make you want to be them. This tugged at all emotions, joy, sadness, anger, angst, and so much more. I love that her characters are strong, both the male and the female. There's always quick quips to make you laugh. I was eagerly awaiting the release of this audio and it most definitely did NOT disappoint.

If you could sum up Ugly Love in three words, what would they be?

Emotional. Captivating. Relatable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ugly Love?

I loved when Miles showed up at Tate's door and had been there for hours waiting for her.

What does Grace Grant and Deacon Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think as with any good narrator, they just give the character life. They let you really experience the anger and angst a character feels through their voice that you may truly grasp when reading.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

We've got this!

Any additional comments?

I love Colleen Hoover's books overall. This book was no exception. I enjoyed it very much. It wasn't my favorite of her books, but I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family and anyone who was looking for a good read.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. The beginning of the book was a far fetched but once the story fell into place, I loved the characters and wanted to see how it worked out.

What other book might you compare The Witness to and why?

Drawing the Line by Kimberly Kincaid because of the storyline of the witness and learning to protect herself.

What does Julia Whelan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the main character to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

It took a bit to get into this storyline. But once it took hold, I wanted to see how it worked out.

Where does Barely Breathing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This series is one of my favorites.

What other book might you compare Barely Breathing to and why?

Pieces of You by Cassia Leo because of the personal struggles of the character.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

I thought Kate did a good job with this story. She wasn't my favorite narrator that I have heard, but she was good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The swing.

Any additional comments?

This book followed the emotional roller coaster as well, but I loved it all.
