Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

It was really interesting and glad to hear things in his own words. He really is his Mother"s son and I"m sure she is proud.
I mean, I"d love to have had him come out as anti-monarchist but there"s no way that was going to happen. Harry really is a fellow elder milennial taking on defeating generational trauma and I"m continually impressed.

Story
From renowned scholar Dr. Victor Ray, On Critical Race Theory explains the centrality of race in American history and politics, and how the often mischaracterized intellectual movement became a political necessity. Ray draws upon the radical thinking of giants such as Ida B. Wells, W.E.B. Du Bois, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to clearly trace the foundations of critical race theory in the Black intellectual traditions of emancipation and the civil rights movement.

Story
Daniel Sloss" stand-up comedy engages, enrages, offends, unsettles, educates, comforts, and gets audiences roaring with laughter - all at the same time. In his groundbreaking specials, seen on Netflix and HBO, he has brilliantly tackled everything from male toxicity and friendship to love, romance, and marriage - and claims (with the data to back it up) that his on-stage laser-like dissection of relationships has single-handedly caused more than 300 divorces and 120,000 breakups.

Story
From the moment powerful men started falling to the #MeToo movement, the lamentations began: This is feminism gone too far, this is injustice, this is a witch hunt. In The Witches Are Coming, firebrand author of the New York Times best-selling memoir and now critically acclaimed Hulu TV series Shrill Lindy West turns that refrain on its head. You think this is a witch hunt? Fine. You"ve got one.

Humor to paper over the harshness of the contents.

excellently written and performed. My only criticism would be that some times the author"s humor isn"t up to the task of making the events referenced tolerable.
but that might be the point. The events of the last 4 years may be inevitably intolerable, even for a top class humorist like West.

couldn"t put it down. finished in a day! I love her honest look at herself and admitting when she may have been not quite right. we need more of our heroes to show they"re not perfect either.
But she is about as perfect as one can truly be!

Story
"Between the Stops is a sort of a memoir, my sort. It"s about a bus trip really, because it"s my view from the Number 12 bus (mostly top deck, the seat at the front on the right), a double-decker that plies its way from Dulwich, in South East London, where I was living, to where I sometimes work - at the BBC, in the heart of the capital. It"s not a sensible way to write a memoir at all, probably, but it"s the way things pop into your head as you travel, so it"s my way".

loved it! I read mostly on my commute, but I couldn"t put this down and finished it in a week (fast when you normally get about 90 min to listen per day). considering I read it mostly on my commute, it really did feel like I was sitting next to her as she told her story.
truly, an enjoyable book.
