Story
Leaving behind my happy, carefree London existence, I found myself across the pond at the exclusive Highgate Preparatory Academy—an institution catering to the privileged offspring of the affluent and influential in the United States—for my senior year. There, fate led me to the arms of the Black Knights of Highgate Prep. Loki, Jax, Kai, and Ash—four mesmerizing, damaged, and captivating young men. Each possesses a wealth as vast as Midas, yet their scars run deep, seemingly irreparable.

I normally don't mind a story with lots of spice, but when it is ONLY that it really gets boring. this was a DNF unfortunately. got about halfway through

the story line is so predictable and really kind of boring. The narrator wasn't too bad. But the story is so bad and goes absolutely nowhere. Did not finish

I’m in trouble. A quick and dirty hookup with the hunky mechanic I just met is bad enough. But when that God-like twenty-year-old turns out to be a student in my English class, I know it’s about to get much worse. Pax Smith isn’t just the star player on the rugby team at Florence U and the hottest man I’ve ever been with. He also has a dark sordid past, and it’s written in the deep scars all over his face.

Being a teacher isn’t necessarily my passion, but pissing my dad off is. He thinks teaching is beneath our family, and I love watching him squirm. But the joke’s on me. I’m completely obsessed with the quiet, beautiful girl in my class.

Loved this book from my favorite author. No one quite captures an age gap romance like she does... especially a taboo one. The narration was good and I might be wrong but it seemed like there may be a series here? Would love a book about the scarred brother.

My grandma gave me these words of wisdom just before she died. Then she told me to run. Because if the old witch is dying, then he needs a new one. And that’s me. This is my curse. I am the vampire’s power. I am the vampire’s strength. I am the vampire’s food. And he is very, very hungry.

Story
Young and naïve—those are his exact words. Professor Barclay views me as a nuisance, a disruption of his otherwise obedient class and perfectly regimented life. His bad impression of me stems from a simple misunderstanding. When that impression sours from bad to worse, he decides to make an example out of me in front of the entire class. Every other female student in that auditorium looks on, longing to trade places with me, wishing they were the object of his attention. It’s humiliating. I want nothing to do with him or the tension growing between us, but he feels inescapable.

Story
Two best friends grow up together, fall in love, get married, and live happily ever after. But what about the one where the girl gets friend-zoned after an awkward attempt at making a move on her best friend? That’s my story. More than a decade has passed, and while our platonic relationship somehow survived, I still cringe when I think about it. Like now. I’m supposed to be getting my hotel ready for all the guests from the St. Patrick's Day parades, but instead, I’m staring at my best friend while he repairs one of my sinks.

Could not finish this book. The narration is really bad. The accent is terrible and the narrator reads all in one tone. You have to sometimes really listen to know who is he supposed to be now. The male voice for female character with no change in tone is so off-putting. Story line is meh at best
