Story
After resolving all the pending SPECIAL Quests that had been plaguing him, Thaden is finally ready to evolve his Class, where he can then continue to Level-up past his current limit. Unfortunately, his current Evolution Assignment is proving to be a bit more difficult than his last one, as it requires him to complete one of the new Intermediate dungeons with a full Raid Party of at least 100 people without any casualties. Throwing money at the problem might’ve worked in the past, but now there’s a complication that makes such a prospect nearly impossible.

Fun series

Another solid entry in to this series. I enjoyed that there was an emphasis on groups and character interaction. The MC has been kind of a loner up to this point but I have enjoyed when he interacts with other guilds and groups the most. This book had a lot of that. There was quite the twist at the end too. The narration was solid.

I thought this book did a great job writing a story arc. I just confirmed that this is a Webnovel which I suspected because of the author’s pen name. But I wouldn’t have known that this was a Webnovel off how this book was written. I really enjoyed the alchemy competition story, which is a common cultivation trope. Everything was well done and I will definitely continue with the future books. The narration was very well too.

Story
Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

I’m sure the author viewed writing this idea as a challenge but it was really well done. The MC gets the majority of the perspective but there are important side characters which help develop the plot. The tree is an interesting character and I plan on reading more. The narration was really well done.

Story
A visit to London’s Natural History Museum became a horror show as magic flooded Earth. Now, Thomas is entombed there as a Dungeon Core, with only the creatures on display available as minions. All over the globe, patches of land have been replaced by strange alien environments, containing not only monsters from myth and legend, but also humanity’s worst nightmares. Leviathans stir at the bottom of the ocean, dragons have reclaimed the skies, and shadows are once again something to fear.

Strong concept

Strong concept for a unique dungeon core book. There are a lot of novel applications of common dungeon core tropes (I.e. the dungeon fairy). I could have used a more prominent antagonist. It would have helped with the plot of the book. There is lot of potential though. The narration is really good.
