Story
None of this was supposed to happen. It all started so innocently. Charlie only stopped in Redemption, Wisconsin, because she was lost. She never meant to stay. She never meant to fall in love. She never meant to bring the danger she was running from into this wholesome midwestern town. Except Redemption had some secrets of its own...and they were even more deadly than what she was trying to escape.

I love that the book gave the story that was the story of Aunt Charlie for the understanding of how she came to Redemption and the people in the haunted house before her.

It’s happening again - people are disappearing. And just like before, the finger is pointed at Becca. She knows how it looks...and that she’s being set up. Someone is following her. Sneaking into her house. Planting evidence to make her look guilty. The problem is, she has no idea why. The bigger problem is, no one believes her. And time is running out.

Story
Theodora Morgan is fashion royalty. Founder of a wildly popular online shopping service, she is one of the most successful businesswomen in the world, although she prefers to keep a low profile, especially over the last months. It was a year ago when the unthinkable struck her family: Her husband, industry mogul Matthieu Pasquier, and their son were kidnapped and held for ransom—a nightmare that ended in tragedy. The case has gone cold, despite evidence linking the crime to Matthieu's Russian competitors.

I wanted the story to continue and for it to include more years of the characters lives together. It is short, but not too short. I recommend it when you want a shorter love story.

Story
Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.
