I’ve already read the ebook and loved it, so when the audiobook came out I downloaded it right away. Right from the beginning I was sucked back into Micaela and Ryan’s world. I laughed, I cried. The emotions in this book got to me just as much as they did the first time I read it.

Micaela is your typical 20 year old college student until tragedy strikes and she’s left trying to pick of the pieces of what is left of her life. Ryan has been running from something his entire life. When these two end up at the same beach house, sparks fly. The chemistry between these two is HOT!

If you like military and secret baby romance, give this book a listen 🎧!

“A villain and a hero. An angel and a demon. Heaven and hell.”

I have let me emotions simmer for days, and I’m still not sure how to get all of thoughts out of my head. Even When I’m Gone is such an emotional endeavor! I fell in love with Ollie and Mia in Stay With Me, and I was on pins and needles watching their story play out. Watching these two struggle, emotionally and physically, is heart wrenching!

“That’s the thing about love. Once it touches you, it doesn’t go away.”

Ollie and Mia have this soul deep connection and I KNOW they belong together. Their journey isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s distressing, destructive and down right painful at times. But then it’s sweet, romantic and sooo beautiful. They belong together, plain and simple. Only it’s not that simple. There are so many obstacles in their way.

“Embrace it, Mia. Every moment, no matter how long it lasts, it’s all worth it, yeah?”

Two years. That’s how long they are in that godforsaken place. A place where you can’t trust anyone. Where your so called “friends” are waiting to stab you in the back. Where you can’t even trust the staff. Bad things happen everyday. But Ollie and Mia are survivors. They will get through it. My heart needs to believe that.

“Sure, we were adults, but stripped of our freedom and deprived of our identity by the hands of medication and means of brainwash—an attempt to reset us like a broken toy.”

At the end I was screaming “NOOOOOO! NO! NO! NO! THIS CANT BE HAPPENING!” I’m losing my mind wondering where Fiorina is taking us in the next book!!!! I’m still blown away that this is a debut series!! The writing gets better and better. It’s the emotions that this is going to bring it out in you, that make it such a fabulous read. You will have no choice but to still be thinking of the characters days later.

Narration is pretty freaking awesome! Lilly Drake, Michael Gallagher and Gregory Salinas are freaking fabulous!

I LOVE a good friends to lovers romance and Rex and Carolina’s story does not disappoint! There’s nothing better than having a guy best friend. I married mine so I might be a little bias.

“I love Carolina Adams, and there’s nothing I can do about it because I wouldn’t survive losing her.”

Being in love with your best friend is as easy as it isn’t. Loving them is easy because you already know them better than they know themselves. Fighting the attraction is the hardest part. The fear of taking your relationship to the next level is real. Charity Ferrell portrays this perfectly.

Just Friends is an angsty, slow burn romance that I’m sure you will love as much as I do! It’s always a pleasure being back in Blue Beech!!

Samantha Cook and Aaron Shedlock did an amazing job narrating! I could listen to their voices alll day long 😂

Enemies-to-lovers is my absolute favorite genre. I was all sorts of giddy waiting for Just Neighbors to hit my kindle! Like jumping up and down & dancing 💃🏼 in circles 😂. Needless to say, Charity Ferrell did not disappoint me. AT. ALL.

Kyle Lane is Blue Beech’s golden boy and favorite bachelor. Mr. Hot AF (have you seen the cover 🤤) is a police officer and Gage (from Just Exes) is his partner. Kyle’s favorite way to start his day-standing shirtless on his front porch drinking coffee so he doesn’t miss his chance to mess with Chloe as she’s leaving for work.

Chloe Fieldgain is the exact opposite of Blue Beech’s golden anything. Unfortunately, she has had to work hard to get where she is in life as the editor in chief of The Blue Beech Register. Everyone needs a friend/assistant like Melanie is to Chloe. Trust me on this one. But that doesn’t help change the fact that her arch nemesis has moved in next door. In Chloe’s own words “Being around him is the equivalent of menstrual cramps”.

Kyle & Chloe’s story moved me. It touched my soul. There is so much than just being enemies. It’s quite the journey. It’s serious, it’s intense and it’s soul shattering. I’m warning you right now....have your box of tissues ready. The author does a great job of putting our hearts ♥️ back together again.

Just Neighbors is a stand-alone. You do not have to read any of the other books in the Blue Beech Series, but I wouldn’t blame you if you did. It has earned a coveted spot on my reread shelf!

Samantha Cook and Aaron Shedlock did a spectacular job!

“Looks like it’s just you and me against the world, buddy.”

I’ve been waiting for Cohen’s book! There’s nothing sexier than a single father who has his sh!t together!! Add in a little forbidden romance and I’m a goner!! Jamie and Cohen have major chemistry!! I read this book in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down!!

“If anyone is off limits, it’s her.”

Jamie is the little sister of Cohen’s ex. She’s all grown up now and chased her dreams of being a doctor. So what do you do when you accidentally run into the nephew you’ve never met? You plead for a truce with his hot as sin father.

“My heart beats for my son, and I’ll stop anyone from hurting him.”

Cohen has a heart of gold, IF you are in his inner circle. Problem is, he doesn’t open that circle. EVER. (Everyone can thank his sh!tty ex for that.) His top priority is always Noah. *swoons* Letting Jamie back in shouldn’t be a problem, until it is. Will she hold up her end of the deal? Will her conscience get in the way breaking both their hearts??

Narration was on point! Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job!

Just Roommates is a slow burn, friends to lovers romance with a side of age gap. Maliki and Sierra have chemistry from the start, even when he was calling her “Jailbait”. Their banter made me want this book to never end.

Sierra is a rebel at heart. Her dad is Blue Beech’s Mayor, her brother, Kyle (Just Neighbors), is a police officer. Yet, here she is sneaking in bars and crushing on Blue Beech’s most eligible bachelor. When she is finally old enough to drink, her and Maliki become friends. He is the person she seeks out whenever life isn’t being kind. It can’t hurt to be roommates, right?

Maliki is just as dreamy as the book cover 🤤. He has no desire to be tied down. Many women have tried and failed. I think he is surprised by his friendship with Sierra. Even more surprised when he offers her a place to stay. They are just friends, what could go wrong?

There are several plot twists, and the biggest one threatens their relationship. Their love is built on friendship, will it stand the rest of time?

Just Roommates can be read as stand alone. ✌🏻

Samantha Cook and Aaron Shedlock did an amazing job narrating and bringing Maliki and Sierra to life!

My mind is still in emotional turmoil over this book! I’m a huge fan of emotional reads and Stay With Me is definitely a hit. I’m angry, sad, confused, happy, jumping with glee and back to angry and sad. Mia and Ollie are total opposites. Where Mia is closed off and has her walls up, Ollie feels too much. These two complete each other perfectly. It’s the matter of where they are, how they got there, and what happens that really ticks me off. But, if they hadn’t ended up at Dolor, they wouldn’t have met, so there’s that.

Stay With Me is a story of survival. It deals with mental illness in a very real way. It does have some darker moments, so if that isn’t your cup of tea, you may want to stay away. It captivated me. I’m completely invested in Mia and Ollie. Their story ends on a to be continued...and I can’t wait to see the author takes them in the next book.

Lilly Drake and Michael Gallagher did a fabulous job brining Mia and Ollie to life!! Their narration flowed very well from accent to no accent. Great job!!!

Chasing Love is a super sweet YA romance set in the 2000’s. Back when Blockbuster was still a thing and as a teenager you had your own phone line instead of a cell phone. I would recommend this to any teen who is looking for a good romance book!

Kaye Anderson was a perfect fit for these teen characters!

I’m loving enemies to lovers right so I was hopeful for Ryan’s book. I liked the storyline, loved Chris and her son. Loved the O’Connor family. It’s the narration that killed of for me 😞. Ashley part was good and it was easy to connect with Christine. Daniel’s part was so monotone, never any emotion in his voice. So, that’s how Ryan’s character feels, emotionless 😐.
