He sounds like his mouth is full of marbles. The author comes across as inauthentic and not relatable

The narrarator's cadence was stilted, weird pauses, inflections and intonation made it hard to follow the story to the point of irritation. Add in a wet sounding lisp, and I was wayyy to distracted. As far as the case references and the random anecdotes, the author came across as preachy, inauthentic and stereotypical (the odd reference/description of race ie. LatinX)... Super out of touch Boomer-trying-to-sound-relevant. (I'm a GenX Liberal and it made me cringe). . Overall, I feel there are so many better books out there and this one was a fad recommendation that fell flat.

Steve Mchugh's new novel about a world were Vanpires have come out of the dark and join the human world.

Miles is a Vampire, an investigator and much like Church (his dog) doesn't let go when he sinks his teeth into an investigation.

This was a fun action packed tale! Great read as allways!

Alway fun when an author throws the hero trope out the window and give us the villain as an antihero. This is one of those wonderful stories!

Been hooked on this series since the first book. not certain how Conoe keeps tension while you read about nearly indestructible online powerful beings but he does, and does it well.
