He thinks her name is Marcie (no matter how many times she’s told him otherwise.) Where do I start?
Reviewed: 10-01-22
1. The recording is terrible. Lines are often repeated like a skipping record.
2. The reader is clearly not from Ky. She says things like ‘in-a-thin’ instead of anything. Her accent also changes throughout the book.
3. The storyline is odd. The plane makes an emergency landing and the victim lives there? He was coming home from a trip, where was he flying to? If it were an emergency landing it would somewhere other than his hometown airport. I know it’s fiction but that just doesn’t make sense.
4. The story isn’t near as descriptive as I’m used to with Tonya Kappes books.
It’s a bit of a disappoint. I’ve already bought the next ones or I’d return this one.

Love the story, she talks WAY too fast!

I really enjoy the story but the narrator talks way to fast. She needs to take a deep breath and talk slower.

Very cute! Great value with 3 books for 1 credit.

Very cute coy mystery. Being from Kentucky much was familiar. Myony issue is she continually describes the area as The Daniel Boone National Park, it’s actually the Daniel Boone National Forest and covers a lot of area. This gives the impression it’s just a small park setting. There are several hundred thousand acres.
I love her character and the friends she makes. I will continue reading her books.

Story
It's the Christmas season and veterinarian Kate Turner is not feeling very jolly. She's overworked, unappreciated, and dealing with two dissatisfied clients. Throw in a very complicated personal life and Kate's definitely got a case of the holiday blues. To make matters worse, Kate's ex-boyfriend, Jeremy, is mugged and robbed after they have a heated argument in the hospital parking lot. Then, two of her dissatisfied clients turn up dead (which really gets Kate's tinsel in a tangle). All of these events seem like coincidences, but they add up to something much more venomous.

Ok, I love Lorelei King! In #26, and she has read a ton of them, she pronounces Grandma’s last name incorrectly. She was always Mazar, M-short a -zer. This book she is M-long a-zer. It drives me crazy. Didn’t she remember from the other books she read. Other than that, it was better than some but not near long enough. Lula and Grandma still have some really good lines. And the most important thing, #teamranger.

Carrie is lacking in judgement...over and over..

Carrie’s con man father breaks in to her cottage as he has come to find the jewels that he was screwed out of from another con man. Carrie, who calls her father Jim, is suddenly feeling sorry and/or protective of him. Why? I can’t fathom it. She gets mad at her boyfriend because he’s looking for her criminal father. She decides to “help” her father find the gems...Then she forms other stupid alliances... it’s more than I can take.
I’m fed up with Carrie. She makes stupid decisions and supports a man who abandons her over and over...

The narrator’s voices for patrons are terrible. They ebb and flow in some extreme way:Up and down in some some weird cadence. It nearly ruins the entire story! I will actively avoid her.
The story itself is good. It’s an interesting continuation of the previous In the series.

Great book for kids and adults alike. Richard Thomas is like revisiting an old friend. He’s the best narrator in audible books.
A branch out from typical Grisham but still with the law based feel. I love them all and will probably listen a few times.

Back in frigid Minnesota, she discovers that proving Lonnie's innocence will be harder than figuring out what went wrong with a recipe. Lonnie remembers only parts of the night he went out to a local bar and ended up driving a very impaired woman home.

Hannah needs to grow up
Reviewed: 02-29-20
I love these books. I’ll start there...but, it’s time Hannah grows up. She needs to have “romantic” feelings for someone, preferable Norman. Norman built her dream house, has a great job, is so kind and she obviously loves him. It’s getting silly. She married a near stranger and he left and Norman keeps coming back. His only issue is he named his cat “Cuddles”. No grown man does that. Hannah leads her life like a 16 year old girl. ALSO, her mother is always portrayed as a scatterbrained woman that needs a tribe to take care of her.
Hannah needs to marry Norman and grow up! It would be ok if she had a real “adult” relationship with a man and had a beer. PLUS, quit saying “the condo.” House, home, place...any go well with “Hannah’s....”
find another name for the HOME!
