Story
Seriously, what was the weirdest place you've ever met someone? What about a place with no address, where the weather was always perfect, the scenery stunning, yet death was as close as your next breath? The choice to go there for Madison McBride and her sister, Winter, was simple. They had no choice. Their parents were the chief designers of the first underwater city on the planet. They packed three suitcases each and said goodbye to every friend they had.

I loved the ideas behind this story. So environmentally relavant. The characters are amazing and the pace kept me interested throughout the story. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Story
A powerful, moving memoir - and a practical guide to healing - written by Dr. Edith Eva Eger, an eminent psychologist whose own experiences as a Holocaust survivor help her treat patients and allow them to escape the prisons of their own minds. The Choice weaves Eger's personal story with case studies from her work as a psychologist. Her patients and their stories illustrate different phases of healing and show how people can choose to escape the prisons they construct in their minds and find freedom, regardless of circumstance.

Life changing

I read that this book would be life changing but had no idea how profound it would be.
Parts were difficult to read because of the degree of suffering but essential to the story. It needs to be read by many of us who have hidden our pain and how to turn it into healing.
