This story was super cute, little drama, and a monster who loves his sweet human. There were some extra spicy scenes so if that is what you are looking for, this is your book! I’d love if this story could be extended with more build up to the love and some more of their life together after the epilogue. I’d definitely listen!

Interesting World of Platonic Love

This was an interesting story about TAD, a fallen angel, living as a homeless man on the streets of NY after lowering the death count from the 9/11 attacks. The author took an interesting moral story building from that point and led TAD to find Doug, a flawed yet endearing man who takes in TAD. Each character has some exploring to do around growing up, learning about others, and trust. They build a platonic love (as TAD is asexual) and Doug find romantic love in another partner. Their story is unique as I’ve never heard quite this epic of a tale. I do wish the story was longer as there were times I wanted more story building to be flushed out. The narration was good. I’d read a sequel to this is available.

This was not a first in the series but can definitely be read as a stand alone. Dante, needing salvation of mind after getting out of prison, seeks employment. He finds work in helping Sid, a master gardener who is seeking salvation for his body after getting diagnosed with MS. This slow burn love story focuses on both major characters seek salvation for mind and body in each other. Love the narration by Dan Calley.

This is the 3rd book in the trilogy. I had to go back and listen to the first two to make sure I understood what was going on here. I’m happy to say Rory and King finally get their HEA. :) Rory and King have an issue with King’s brother that they must deal with to be together. King tries to handle everything on his own, but he learns he must seek help from others to be successful. This books ends with the much needed HEA that Rory and King deserve. The narrator made this story come to life. :D I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

King's Stalemate is Book 2 in the Road to Redemption series, as Rory and King get closer. Rory is trying to get away from his past by opening his own yoga studio. King has to find a way to protect Rory from his past without making things bad for himself. Similar to the first book in the series, this story is full of action and suspense, although not needlessly so or overdone. Some plot pints were predictable but it still made for a great story. Defiant looking forward to slither books in the series Narrator Austin Jay does a great job.

Sweet Daddy/boy MM series of novellas

This is a sweet Daddy/boy romance, with some humor and suspense but nothing too overbearing . Book two is particularly entertaining with Neil and Brady’s parents. Listening to this trilogy as an audio bundle is definitely the way to go, as each novella flows into the next making it like a larger book. I liked the characters’ backgrounds and overall story, particularly if you don’t like antsy books that keep you guessing. This was an easy listen and I enjoyed the narration.

KA Merikan did it again with the MM romance. Places in the background of homophobic MC environment, the two main characters who are step brothers struggle to fight their attraction to each other, then once they are together, struggle to share it with their family and friends. The character development was very good and the narration and was great.

I am so happy to have Priest and Amal’s story round out this wonderful series! Priest and Mal are two of the oldest members of their clubs, which I also appreciate reading/listening about (older people deserve love too). They’re both guarding their hearts for their own reasons- Priest because his husband died and Mal because his wife left him after the birth of their child- so they must learn to trust each other in order to love again. Map has a stalker which helps Priest realize he needs to protect Mal, the man he has feelings for. I loved that the men’s fellow club members enjoy teasing them about their romance, which is sweet and protective. The narration was fantastic as well!! I’m so happy to have this story as the last in the series. I received an arc of this audiobook in return for an honest review.

MM Romance (Frenemies to Lovers)

This is a frenemies-to-lovers romance story about Aiden and Bryce, who both desperately want a position with the FBI in forensic computing; however, there’s only one place available. Aiden is introverted and prickly while Bryce is more easy going and friendly. Bruce enjoys winding Aiden up and then they enjoy a steamy first kiss. The drama and build up is expected so it kind of lags or feels unsurprising, and the arguments are what a reader/listener would expect. This story had mid-level angst (which I’m not a huge fan of when it’s expected) and the arguments towards the end were a little eye l-rolling worthy but overall the story was good. Connor Brown does a good job at bringing the characters to life with his narration. I received an arc of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

First in Hell’s Ankhor Series- MM romance

I've listened to this series out of order, so I was happy to go back and get Blade and Logan's story. The story begins the story of the Hell's Ankhor club and describes the president Blade as a hit-first-ask-questions-later kind of guy. He stumbles upon Logan, who hides who he actually is (son of rival MC president) in order to receive protection Blade offers. This story is good and you see more of these characters in later parts of the series. The narrator was okay but he mispronounced some words that are pivotal to the story it became distracting. He does not narrate the rest of the series.I recommend this series to anyone who likes MM romance. I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
